Gaby Caruso is one of the millions of shoppers that head out into the crowds and chaos of Black Friday. Each year after sharing the traditional Thanksgiving meal with her family, Gaby and her mom leave the house around 9 P.M. and head to either Woodfield or Gurnee mall. Some of Gaby’s favorite stores to visit on Black Friday include H&M, Urban Outfitters, and any shoe store. I checked back in with Gaby’s after this year’s experience. She ended up going to Gurnee and Deer Park, finding good deals at Express, Pink, and Aerie. One of her favorite purchases was a new skirt and a top to go with it. As for the crowds, she says “not the worst I’ve seen, though parking was really bad.” Overall, Gaby enjoying spending time with her friends and family over the long shopping weekend.

Along with Gaby, 137 million Americans visited stores over the four-day weekend and sales hit a record of 7.9 billion. 40% of these purchases made on mobile phones. So whether you enjoy the craze of Black Friday shopping or the comfort of Cyber Monday this long weekend of shopping and saving it great for spoiling yourself, friends, and family for the holidays.
